College GameDay is headed to Baton Rouge on Saturday morning as LSU hosts Florida in a major Week 7 battle for SEC bragging rights.
We are officially halfway through the 2019 season. Teams are beginning to separate themselves from the rest of the pack and Florida and LSU are two of those squads.
The Tigers are undefeated and their offense is one of the best in the nation, led by dark-horse Heisman contender Joe Burrow. It seems as if no one can slow down LSU but Ed Orgeron’s team will face its biggest test yet with Florida’s defense coming to town.
Florida, on the other hand, is known more for its defense, especially with Feleipe Franks out for the season. He’s been replaced with Kyle Trask who was a forgotten piece on the depth chart to start the season but has been thrust into action. He’ll also face his biggest test of the season as he will face a normally-tough LSU defense.
The Tigers are looking to prove themselves worthy of a playoff spot, but so are the Gators. Will either side win in convincing fashion and break that top four? Tune in on Saturday night to find out, but don’t forget the College GameDay festivities in the morning.
