We are at the halfway point in the 2019 college football season and it has been as wild as ever. Here are some bold predictions as we head into Week 8.

Every week in college football something crazy happens. It’s inevitable. But, this is exactly what makes college football the great sport that it is. This week is highlighted by a pretty big Friday night game and an interesting Big Ten matchup during primetime on Saturday night.

Here are some bold prediction at how these games may shake out, as well as a few other interesting matchups across the country.

5. Penn State dominates Michigan

The No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions will host No. 16 Michigan in State College come Saturday night. Penn State will win by at least 28 points against the Wolverines in a complete domination.

However, this isn’t going to just “end up” being a 28-point win. James Franklin’s team is going to prevent Michigan from even gaining over 250 yards of total offense throughout the game. Sean Clifford, Penn State’s starting quarterback, will control the game perfectly. This will limit Michigan’s time of possession, and therefore, scoring opportunities.

This performance is going to boost the Nittany Lions into the top-five teams in the AP Polls. It will also be the catalyst to Michigan seriously considering firing Jim Harbaugh.
