Pick Analysis. 5-1. 2. player. 830. Scouting Report. Last Week: 2. Cincinnati Bearcats

The Bearcats have been impressive since their 42-0 loss to Ohio State. They’ve conquered the UCF dragon, and have a manageable schedule down the stretch. They end the season with Memphis on the road which is their toughest game left on their schedule. Cincinnati has settled into its identity. It’s a power-running team with an efficient complementary passing game.

Their retooled defense has gotten better every week. Bryan Wright and Michael Pitts are really good pass rushers and their young secondary is playing well. They are focused and on a mission. It’s going to be hard for anyone else on their schedule to defeat them.

1. Scouting Report. 6-0. Last Week: 1. Boise State Broncos. Pick Analysis. player. 895

The Broncos position on the watch completely hinges on the health of Hank Bachmeier. Of course head coach Bryan Harsin said the quarterback battle was intense and back up Chase Cord can run the offense as well as Bachmeier, but there’s a reason he lost the competition.

They’ll protect Cord the same way they protected Bachmeier. They’ll pound the ball with running backs Robert Malone and George Holani, and throw off of play-action.

Fortunately for Boise State, the toughest game left on the schedule is probably Wyoming. BYU is going to be tough, but they should win that game. Utah State is tricky because it’s on the road. The Broncos have to know that they have to win out to get to the New Year’s Six as well.
