SMU has been perfect in their first six games of the season. The Mustangs have overcome a tough road game against TCU which should not be overlooked either. They come into this game coming off of a triple-overtime win against Tulsa and are right behind Boise State in the polls for that NY6 bowl game.

Temple is coming off a game where they themselves were able to play spoiler against a ranked Memphis team. Temple is also coming in winning their last three games and playing stifling defense We should see the Temple Owls able to compete with the Mustangs on the road as SMU showed major weakness last week.

SMU is going to look like a burned-out team staying home for the second straight week after their triple-overtime win. Temple is riding high after their win and has the offense to exploit the weaknesses in the secondary for SMU. Look for Temple to come out of the gates hot trying to play spoiler once again.
