Plan on taking in as many hours of college football as possible this Saturday? Here is your Week 8 guide to a veritable bender of binge watching.

As we approach the start of the second half of the 2019 college football regular season, the opportunities to gorge on gridiron action abound in Week 8. Throughout Saturday, there are a glut of great games to watch. Planning to binge football all day? You definitely won’t want to miss these games!

Let’s start with some great games in the early slate on Saturday.

No. 3 Clemson at Louisville (12 p.m. ET on ABC)

Clemson played their most complete game of the 2019 season last weekend against Florida State, pummeling the Seminoles by 31 points but still dropping another spot in the AP Top 25. Louisville made major noise in Week 7 as they took down then-undefeated Wake Forest in the highest-scoring game of the weekend. A Cardinals win at home would upend the ACC Atlantic race, while Clemson can consolidate their College Football Playoff credentials if they prevail on the road.

Prediction: Louisville will play things close in the first half before the defending national champions pull away in the second half for a two-touchdown victory.

West Virginia at No. 5 Oklahoma (12 p.m. ET on FOX)

Oklahoma survived the Red River shootout in a top-12 showdown against Texas in Week 7. West Virginia, meanwhile, has lost two straight after a 3-1 start. The Mountaineers head to Norman, hoping to exact a measure of revenge after last year’s heartbreaking 59-56 loss against the Sooners in Morgantown. They will have to contend with yet another top-shelf transfer quarterback as Jalen Hurts looks to bolster his Heisman credentials yet again.

Prediction: Oklahoma is going to get an early jump in this contest, and the Mountaineers simply do not have the firepower to keep up as they lose a third straight and fall below .500.

No. 9 Florida at South Carolina (12 p.m. ET on ESPN)

Before last weekend, this looked like it would be just another mismatch in the SEC East. But then South Carolina went and toppled Georgia in a massive upset between the hedges, and after shaking off a 1-3 start the Gamecocks are now at .500 in the standings. They host a Florida side coming off their first loss of the season at LSU and hoping to prove that their own loss (and by extension South Carolina’s upset of Georgia) was a fluke.

Prediction: South Carolina will make this a thriller and threaten to upend the SEC race further, but Florida will survive to maintain their top-10 ranking for another week.
