3. Sun Devils are great against the run

The Arizona State defense prides themselves on their run-stopping ability. In six games, the Sun Devils are giving up just 91 yards on the ground a game and have been able to force offenses into passing situations time and time again.

Head Coach Herm Edwards has the Sun Devil defense rolling right now and this could spell real trouble for the Utes who don’t have much of a passing game with Tyler Huntley at quarterback. If Arizona State can turn the Utes into a one-dimensional team that forces Huntley out of the pocket and into tough third and long situations, this could be a game they steal from Utah.

Arizona State is 13.5-point underdogs on the road. That means no one is expecting them to come out and shock a Utah team that has played well at home. This is a perfect reason why Herm Edwards and the company can set up a great game plan for the Utes and surprise Utah on the road in their own stadium. Look for the defensive line to play a huge role on Saturday night.
