1. Tyler Huntley has 400 total yards

Tyler Huntley is the Utes’ second-leading rusher this year. Arizona State is going to force everything through him. They’re going to load the box to take away Zack Moss, and key on him when they run their zone option read stuff and force Huntley to run.

The Sun Devils won’t have much respect for the pass game of the Utes at the outset of the game.

This is where Huntley comes in as a passer. He’ll have man coverage a lot especially on what Arizona State has designated as running downs.

This is when Utah’s two big play receivers Bryan Thompson and Brant Kuithe come into play. Both receivers are averaging over 20 yards per reception this season, and those would be perfect times to take shots down the field on Arizona who will give up a big play or two downfield.

Huntley’s accuracy throwing the football is what can loosen up that Sun Devils defense. Huntley taking advantage of man coverage opportunities as well as running when the perimeter defender crashes on Moss gives Huntley an opportunity to put up some big numbers in this one.
