2. LSU’s receivers deserve more respect nationally

We all know about the receivers of Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and even Ohio State but no one seems to talk about just how good LSU’s wide outs are.

The Tigers’ playmakers had yet another solid week, led by Justin Jefferson who had eight catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. He’s now over 750 yards on the season with 48 receptions and looks like one of the best wide outs in the SEC as a junior. He had a breakout 2018 campaign but still gets overlooked by the national media.

Along with Jefferson, LSU has sophomore Ja’Marr Chase who finished the game with five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown and he now has 35 receptions for 626 yards on the year.

These two might just be the best duo of receivers in the country that no one is talking about and potentially the most dynamic in Baton Rouge since Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr.

Both of these guys are on pace to reach 1,000 yards on the season and that’s almost unheard of in college football.
