1. Michigan gets shut out

This is a three bold predictions article, so let’s have one of the boldest predictions you’ll read all year. Michigan won’t score in this game.

This probably won’t happen, but the conditions are right for Penn State to pitch the shutout. These are the games where you can turn the narrative of your program. Keep in mind the Nittany Lions want to be counted among the elite. Michigan hasn’t had the year they’ve wanted, but they are still a big-time brand, and beating them puts you right behind the Buckeyes.

This is an opportunity to make a statement, and what better statement than shutting out the Wolverines?

The White Out will be on at Beaver Stadium, and it’s going to be loud. Michigan has had its issues with turnovers, and the Nittany Lions’ defense gets to the quarterback. Offensively, one or two big plays will set the tone for the night, and after a big lead is established the Nittany Lions will lean on the Michigan defense with their run game just like Wisconsin did.

If the Wolverines offense can’t get going, don’t be shocked to see a zero on the board.
