2. Trojan horses returning to the backfield

Freshman Markese Stepp has quietly racked up over 300 yards rushing this year, including at least 60 yards in his last three games. He has also found the end zone twice during that span.

Stepp came all the way from Indianapolis with a glistening resume like all Trojan running back recruits. And we are finally starting to see why despite carrying the ball just 48 times.

Arizona found out that Stepp isn’t the only talented and healthy back remaining on the roster, as Kedon Christon made his debut. The Californian carried the ball eight times for 103 yards, scoring two touchdowns.

With Slovis firing on all cylinders, if the Trojans can mix and match in Stepp and Christon, fans might be feeling like the days of Reggie Bush and LenDale White are back in sunny California.
