It was another up and down week in ACC football. Who went up? Who went down? Be sure to check back each week for your ACC power rankings.

On this week’s episode of As the ACC Turns, Virginia got back on track, sending the Blue Devils to the ninth circle of private school academia. The Hurricanes looked more like a drizzle against the Yellow Jackets. The Hokies needed six — count ’em six — overtime periods to get the tar off their heels.

The Pitt Panthers love their trickery, and knack for letting teams back into games. Clemson started slow, and then remembered it’s Clemson. The Demon Deacons summoned the clouds and fog and rain to extinguish the Seminoles and their spirit animals. And the Wolfpack had no bite against the Eagles.

This and more in As the ACC Turns.

Someone once said, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.” Well, ladies and gentlemen, several teams have shown us who they are, and it’s time we believe them.

Miami isn’t a very good football team; they are a bigger mess than anyone knew. Even that defense that was supposed to be elite hasn’t played well the last few weeks. Syracuse isn’t even good enough to be not very good. Clemson is still four touchdowns better than any team in the ACC.

So, with all due respect to the “Textile Bowl” or “The Rivalry that really ain’t” here are this week’s ACC power rankings.
