South Dakota State is the featured program for Saturday’s College GameDay. It’s an interesting choice but who’s the guest picker?

For all of those fans disappointed to see College GameDay head to a smaller school and feature two FCS programs, don’t be. This week’s trip to South Dakota for the South Dakota State vs. North Dakota State game could be one of the most exciting for those who don’t know much about the FCS.

This game features two of the best teams from the FCS and they don’t exactly like each other. Both are looking to make some noise this season and win titles. North Dakota State is unbeaten while South Dakota State’s only loss is a seven-point defeat at Minnesota.

Before the game can take place, though, the College GameDay crew will be previewing the week’s matchups as well as picking the top games of the week.

There are plenty of great matchups to look forward to, such as Ohio State vs. Wisconsin to kick off the day in Columbus. The 3:30 p.m. ET slate will have LSU vs. Auburn, Texas at TCU, Penn State at Michigan State and Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State. At night, we’ll see Notre Dame at Michigan and Oregon vs. Washington State. Who wins these matchups?

Well, the guest picker will have his say, but who will that be for this special trip to Brookings, S.D., in Week 9?

While Pat McAfee might seem like an odd choice given that he went to West Virginia, it makes sense because he’s one of the rising stars in sports commentating and his former teammate with the Colts, Adam Vinatieri, went to South Dakota State and won’t be available as Indianapolis has a game this Sunday.

One thing is for sure: McAfee will be as entertaining as any guest picker this season.
