ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to South Dakota State for a monster FCS battle as the Jackrabbits face North Dakota State.
Were you hoping to see Ann Arbor, Columbus or Baton Rouge as the focus for Week 9’s College GameDay since those are the biggest battles between ranked teams? Well, you’re not in luck as the crew is headed to Brookings, S.D., to feature the South Dakota State vs. North Dakota State game.
While it’s not exactly what everyone expected, it’s one of those smaller games that needs some attention and could really help out the FCS level. It’ll be a fierce battle between two of the FCS’ best teams — and South Dakota State nearly beat Minnesota this season.
Thew crew will also feature Pat McAfee as the guest picker which is an interesting choice given the fact that he went to West Virginia, but he’s one of the more popular young commentators in college football these days.
Just because the game doesn’t feature two ranked foes from the FCS doesn’t mean the crew will avoid talking about what could be a wild week in college football.
Tune in on Saturday morning to see that and just how passionate fans of these smaller schools can really be — what else is there to do in South Dakota in October?
Here’s how you can watch College GameDay from State College:
Date: Saturday, Oct. 26
Time: 9 a.m. ET
Location: Brookings, S.D.

While this might not be a monster battle between two ranked FBS foes, North Dakota State and South Dakota State should have one of the most intense matchups of the season. Don’t overlook this game and tune in to GameDay beforehand.
