Michigan Wolverines. 15. player. 811. Pick Analysis. won 45-14 vs. No. 8 Notre Dame. 11/2 at Maryland. Scouting Report

Michigan is going to earn itself a few spots in the AP Top 25 this week after they took down No. 8 Notre Dame in a convincing 31-point victory on Saturday evening. While Notre Dame proved ill-equipped to handle the rain pouring down on the Big House, the Wolverines seemed to revel in the wet weather as they ran for 303 yards as a team.

Hassan Haskins and Zach Charbonnet both had big games out of the Michigan backfield. Haskins rushed 20 times for 149 yards, while Charbonnet took 15 carries for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Shea Patterson didn’t have to do too much at quarterback, throwing just 12 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and backup Dylan McCaffrey added 34 yards and another passing score on 2-of-2 passing.

While a spot in the Big Ten championship game is probably a pipe dream at this point for the Wolverines, they have a shot to continue playing spoiler through the month of November. They get a chance to ease into the month with a trip to Maryland, and they return from a Week 11 bye for a home date with Michigan State before closing out the month at Indiana and at home against Ohio State.
