879. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Clemson. Deshaun Watson. 3. player

I know what you are thinking, ahead of Kyler Murray and Christian McCaffrey? My answer would be yes, to both of those questions. Deshaun Watson was one of the most underrated dual-threat athletes that we have ever seen in college football. Overshadowed by how well his team performed around him, Watson’s electric play doesn’t get talked about enough.

Unlike the guys before this, Watson put up not just one year of being an electric player, but two years of dominating defenses. In fact, in 2015, Watson ran for 1,100 yards and passed for another 4100. His rushing ability matched, if not bested Murray in a conference where the defense is arguably better. Not to mention his College Football Playoff appearances that netted him a national title.

Enough about his college performances though, Deshaun Watson would be absolutely insane to have on your team in NCAA Football. His vision, running ability and awareness would be worth it alone. You mix in his great arm with the receivers from Clemson and you are going to have a great time playing with him in a video game, it’s a real shame we never had the chance.
