Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Louisville. player. 1. 849. QB. Lamar Jackson

We talked about Kyler Murray looking like Mike Vick in 2005. That comparison might have been a stretch with Murray’s measurables and stature. Looking at Lamar Jackson, there is no such thing as him being a stretch to be exactly like Mike Vick. Jackson has solidified himself as a starter in the NFL before that he was running wild at Louisville.

Lamar did not have the luxury of being in an air raid style offense that was slinging it all over the field 50 times a game. What Jackson did have was the unreal speed and agility to go wherever he wanted during the course of a game. Passing for over 3,400 yards both his sophomore and junior year, Jackson added over 1,500 yards rushing in both those same years.

One of the most exciting players to watch in the past decade while he was in college Lamar Jackson comes in at #1 here. No doubt in my mind he would be the first player that I would pop on the video game and run around with making seamless passes out of the pocket. There may be many missed players not on this list, but Lamar Jackson is one that cannot be overlooked.
