The college football season continues to be wild and unpredictable. Will a seemingly weak Week 10 slate provide more of the same?

On the surface, the Week 10 slate in college football looks like one of the weakest of the season. Georgia and Florida’s matchup in Jacksonville is the lone game between two ranked teams this week, leading to the primetime matchup on Saturday night being between a pair of AAC teams, providing a much needed showcase for the Group of Five.

Typically, these types of weekends are the ones that ultimately sneak up on us and lead to some paradigm shifting upsets that alter the landscape across the country. If the last few weeks have been any indication, we should expect to continue to see surprising upsets.

We’ve seen a huge upset three consecutive weeks, starting with South Carolina’s road win over Georgia, continuing with Illinois shocking Wisconsin, and leading to last week when Kansas State overpowered Oklahoma in the Little Apple.

Week 10 might be a weak slate overall, but there’s still plenty of important games on the schedule that will play vital roles in how respective conferences shake out. We also get to focus more attention on the group-of-five, with big matchups in the AAC and the C-USA taking center stage.

Also, let’s be honest. We’re all college football junkies here; we’ll be begging for this type of slate in a few months when the long darkness of the offseason settles in.

Let’s take a look at the biggest games of Week 10 and make some predictions:

Last Week: 6-4 straight up; 4-6 ATS
Overall: 60-30 straight up; 46-44 ATS
