LSU Football: 3 reasons the Tigers will beat Alabama in Week 11
2. Tua Tagovailoa’s hampered ankle
Tua Tagovailoa has taken over the college football world as one of the most electric quarterbacks in the country. This has not been something he has been doing for just one year, this has been a trend we have seen since he was a freshman in the championship game. There are no doubting Tua’s skillset and his ability on the football field.
His ability was not in question until two weeks ago playing against the Tennessee Volunteers. Tagovailoa went down hard with a high ankle sprain and missed practices as the Crimson Tide were on their bye week. Ready to go on Saturday, no one knows just how much the injury will affect Tua.
None the less we should see a more limited role for the junior quarterback. He will still be a gamer and make the throws, but LSU will bring pressure and make it hard for that normal Tagovailoa magic to happen. This could be just the edge the Tigers need to get past the Crimson Tide on the road.
