Florida State Football: 3 takeaways from huge win at Boston College
By Dante Pryor
1. Steve Addazio’s seat may be warm
There are certain games you have to win. Florida State has looked ugly at times this season, and they just lost their head coach last weekend. The quarterback position for the Seminoles has been a carousel. Although they lost their starting quarterback Anthony Brown for the season, they’ve learned to live without him.
It’s been an up and down season for the Eagles. This hasn’t been the season that Boston College head coach Steve Addazio had in mind.
Addazio’s last two games are by no means easy with Notre Dame and Pitt left. This was one the Eagles needed to get, and they let it slip through their fingers.
There’s been enough talk about what kind of program Boston College is. Addazio has won seven games in five of his six full seasons at Boston College. Eagles alumni as well as the administration are trying to figure out if this is the high water mark for the program, or if they can do better. One thing is for sure, losing games like this don’t help your profile.
