Who is the celebrity picker for College GameDay Week 12, Baylor vs. Oklahoma?

With College GameDay in Waco for a big Week 12 battle between Big 12 playoff contenders, who will be present as the guest picker — or pickers?

Who would have thought that College GameDay would be headed to Waco for a Baylor vs. Oklahoma game? At the beginning of the year, this game looked like a potential trap and nothing more, but since the Bears are undefeated, there is a lot on the line.

Baylor has been playing well enough to get the job done even though it’s had quite a few one-possession and overtime games, but the Bears are hoping to prove they’re for real on Saturday evening. A win over Oklahoma could very well set up a rematch for the Big 12 title in a few weeks and if they win both, there’s no way the committee can keep Baylor out.

Oklahoma, on the other hand, already has one loss this season and a defeat on Saturday in Waco would likely end their playoff hopes. Oh, and the Sooners have yet another Heisman contender at quarterback in Alabama transfer Jalen Hurts.

There’s plenty to fight for on Saturday night.

But before any of that can happen, the College GameDay crew will be previewing Saturday’s slate of games, starting with some big noon contests.

And then there will be the celebrity picker segment and each week the crew has picked celebrities with ties to the host schools. That will be the case yet again on Saturday as Chip and Joanna Gaines from the home improvement show Fixer Upper will grace the set.

Both are big supporters of the university and live in Waco.

This is a good pick because the couple has a good sense of humor and Chip seems like he knows plenty about Baylor football (he’s always wearing Baylor gear). Expect a fun show on Saturday morning.
