1. Notre Dame still has hope

This commanding win over the Navy Midshipmen will prove to be incredibly valuable for the Irish as the year comes to a close.

After a disappointing 45-14 loss against Michigan, and nearly being upset by Virginia Tech, 21-20, an overwhelming doubt came over the Notre Dame Football program. However, with this victory over a very good Navy team, the Irish will undoubtedly move up in the rankings.

With two more games on the schedule, which the Irish will be heavily favored, it appears as though a 10-2 finish in inevitable. As other teams ranked ahead of Notre Dame lose, be it during rivalry week, in a conference championship, or otherwise, the Irish will move up the ladder. Brian Kelly’s squad could easily find themselves as high as No. 6 heading into Bowl selection.
