2. Indiana had plenty of missed opportunities

Indiana left this game respected by James Franklin and the a lot of other people in the college football world. They proved they could hang and play with the big boys, but when they put on the film of this game, Indiana football coach Tom Allen is going to look at see so many missed opportunities.

One missed opportunity was fumbling after recovering a fumble. Any time you create a turnover, you have to do something with it in a game like this.

The Hoosiers were down 27-14 in the third quarter and got the ball in the red zone; they only got three points. At this point in the game, you had to see that Penn State was wearing the clock down and Indiana needed to score touchdowns. Any time you are on the road you have to score touchdowns.

Hoosier quarterback Peyton Ramsey put the ball where only his wide receiver, Donovan Hale, could catch it and he couldn’t haul in the pass. Those are the plays you have to make in a game of this importance.
