3. Jaylon Henderson could be the answer

Jaylon Henderson came into the season as No. 3 on the depth chart. The transfer senior quarterback from UTSA found himself in a backup role even after transferring and finding yet another home to finish his career. On Saturday, he got his first college start and filled in as well as you could have imagined.

Henderson is not the long term answer the Broncos hope as they are trying to get Hank Bachmeier back from injury, but Henderson looked as good as advertised. Minus just a few turnovers from Henderson, the senior quarterback made some incredible throws on Saturday. He showed that he could move out of the pocket and had some key throws on third down.

If Bachmeier cannot go in the last couple of games, Henderson could still start over the injured Chase Cord and give the Broncos a spark. He was able to throw three touchdowns and 292 yards against the Lobos in a route at home. There is definitely some promise when it comes to Henderson, it is a shame the Broncos were not able to have the quarterback for more than one year. He looks like he fits perfectly in the Boise State offensive scheme.
