2. Joe Burrow, LSU — Draft eligible: 2020

The evolution of Joe Burrow into one of the top quarterback prospects in the country is something to marvel at. The timing he has and chemistry with his receivers has been awesome, and now he looks primed to be the top overall pick of next year’s draft.

Burrow has all the arm tools to be a great quarterback in the NFL. He won’t blow you away with his arm strength, but he can make any throw on the field. But what stands out to me the most about his game is his discipline.

It’s very Tom Brady-esque in ways that he can go through his progressions, and isn’t afraid to force the ball downfield. He’ll happily hit Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the flat, and then use his short routes to open plays downfield.

If you draft Burrow, you’re drafting a quarterback who’s seen it all, and is mentally more NFL ready than any other quarterback in the country.
