1. Trevor Lawrence, Clemson — Draft eligible: 2021

As quickly as everyone was ready to anoint Lawrence a future NFL star, they were ready to take him down when he struggled with turnovers early in the season. It’s true, Lawrence was sloppy, relying on his incredible arm strength to start the season, and threw five interceptions in his first three games, and doubled his 2018 by the time he hit game seven of the 2019 season.

But since that game against Louisville, where he threw two interceptions, here are Lawrence’s numbers in his last four games:

  • 80.9 completion percentage, 1,041 yards, 18 Total TDs

Not to mention, the most important number: zero interceptions. No, he won’t win the Heisman Trophy this season, but he’s working his way towards getting in invite to New York to sit alongside Burrow and Jalen Hurts.

Lawrence is one of the best quarterbacks in college football, and will go down as one of the winningest before going with the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. I can guarantee that pick.
