1. Showdown with Clemson looms

This win gave Virginia their first ACC Coastal title and a spot in the ACC title game next Saturday against the No. 3 Clemson Tigers.

Clemson has been far and away the most dominant team in the ACC thus far. This is a tall task for a Virginia team that has just had an emotionally draining rivalry game and now has to look forward to Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne on the other side of the field.

If Virginia Tech’s offense can do what they did in one half against Virginia, it is safe to say Clemson will do the same for the whole game. If Virginia can find soft spots in the Clemson secondary like they did today against Virginia Tech, they definitely can stay competitive.

They are going to need other offensive playmakers, Terrell Jana and Wayne Taulapala in particular, to step up and take some of the pressure off of Bryce Perkins.
