1. Oklahoma should be in the playoff with a Big 12 title win

Alabama losing today and effectively eliminating themselves from the playoff picture has now ushered in a brand new wave of debate: Big 12 champ or Utah? Utah has impressed with their defense through the course of the year, but Oklahoma will have a better resume to go along with the best offense statistically in the nation.

This will all be dependent on the showdown next week against Baylor, who also has a sneaky case at making the top four. If Baylor wins, they will have avenged their only loss of the season and be a conference champion. If Oklahoma wins, they will have run through the best teams in the Big 12, with the exception of Kansas State.

It will be interesting to see how much the committee values that Kansas State loss because in my opinion, Oklahoma will have done enough to outweigh that loss and should be in the playoff with a win next week.
