2. Mike Norvell, Memphis HC

Another guy who seems destined for a new gig, Mike Norvell is the perfect candidate at Ole Miss, in my opinion. He’s one of the most underrated coaches in the country, constantly dealing with changeover in his coaching staff, and swinging above his weight at Memphis.

He has the Tigers primed for a potential New Year’s Six Bowl as they’re set to take on Cincinnati in the AAC Conference Championship Game.

If Ole Miss wants Norvell as their guy, they need to move fast, as Florida State and Arkansas had a major head start on the Rebels in the hiring process. His buyout is cheap, he recruits the area and he is ready for a big move, I think this should be Ole Miss’ top candidate.
