3. Quarterbacks of the future

Justin Herbert and Tyler Huntley are among the top 10 quarterbacks in college football this year. However, their futures may be even brighter. There’s no doubt that Oregon’s star quarterback, Justin Herbert will be drafted much higher than Tyler Huntley in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Herbert, at 6-foot-6 and 238 pounds, has the size to see over his own offensive line, but also hang in the pocket with NFL-sized defensive linemen. He also has the best arm coming out of college this season, even if Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa declares for the draft.

Tyler Huntley, on the other hand, embodies that of the modern-day dual-threat quarterback. To say he is the next Lamar Jackson would be a stretch — for now. Huntley is far from being the rusher that is Jackson; however, he is significantly better than the vast majority of NFL quarterbacks. As NFL offenses evolves, athletes like Huntley will be increasingly valuable and prominent at the quarterback position.

Huntley finished the game with two touchdowns and a two-point conversion pass but also had two interception. Herbert had similar numbers minus the turnovers, completing 14-of-26 passes for 193 yards and one passing score.
