Ole Miss Football: 3 reasons Lane Kiffin will turn the Rebels around

2. Kiffin knows the SEC

Lane Kiffin fits right in at the SEC, as he coached at Tennessee (albeit for a year) and was the offensive coordinator at Alabama. He should have some knowledge from his time at these schools to prepare for every game, and will be especially ready to beat Alabama.

The man knows the conference very well, and won’t be overwhelmed in the environments and with the SEC media.

He knows the lay of the land, and I think he’ll step in day one comfortable with his setting. We’ve seen the SEC overwhelm a lot of coaches in the past (Chad Morris was the latest example), but that won’t be the reason Kiffin isn’t successful.
