1. Chris Reynolds and Benny LeMay

Charlotte quarterback Chris Reynolds and running back Benny LeMay are enough reasons alone to tune in to this bowl game. While Will Healy has gotten a lot of credit for Charlotte’s success, and rightfully so, the 49ers would not be where they are today without these two players.

LeMay is one of the best running backs in the conference. He is coming off his second straight season with over 1,000 yards rushing. He had 14 total touchdowns and ended up with 50 less rushing attempts compared to last year.

While he was their featured player on offense, Healy’s offense allowed quarterback Chris Reynolds to take some of the load off of LeMay as Reynolds took a huge step forward this year. The run pass option that Healy brought with him had a positive affect on the offense as a whole.

Reynolds actually started the season off as the No. 2 quarterback on the roster, however that didn’t even last the full game as he took over midway through the first game and hasn’t looked back since. He finished the regular season with 27 total touchdowns, 2,366 yards through the air and 757 yards on the ground. Reynolds is only a sophomore and is a quarterback to keep track of going into next season.

While Buffalo is a six-point favorite right now, Reynolds and LeMay will be a tough duo to stop.
