NFL Draft 2020: 5 players who can improve stock during bowl season
By Kyle Grondin
2. Jalen Hurts, Quarterback, Oklahoma
This one is kind of easy one, but Jalen Hurts transferred to Oklahoma to get a chance to compete for a championship, and learn from Lincoln Riley, who has coached the last two top overall picks.
Hurts has been sensational this season, but the quarterback had some inconsistencies towards the end of the season, and Oklahoma seemed to be coasting through the second half of the season.
Now they’re in the playoff, and the Sooners are going to be facing potentially two teams littered with NFL talent. Their semifinal opponent, the LSU Tigers, have a lot of future pros in their secondary, including Grant Delpit and Derek Stingley.
If Hurts can play at a high level against the Tigers defense, he has a chance to reach the national championship, and play his way into the first round.
