1. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Running Back, LSU

There are four big running back prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft. Travis Etienne of Clemson, Jonathan Taylor of Wisconsin, JK Dobbins of Ohio State and Deandre Swift of Georgia. While all four are talented backs and have been for many years, Clyde Edwards-Helaire belongs in the same conversation.

He is the perfect running back for the modern NFL. Quick on his feet, and he can run, block and catch out of the backfield, he should be a very talented running back for years to come. He’s improved his stats every year, and has become the safe option for the high-octane LSU offense.

While Oklahoma’s defense carries a reputation as soft, Kenneth Murray and company will be a solid adversary. And if the Tigers can win that one, he’ll go up against either a Clemson or Ohio State defense littered with NFL talent. Edwards-Helaire has a chance to cement himself as a top-level prospect.
