1. Epic showdown with LSU looms for Clemson

Clemson earned the right to go play another group of Tigers on their own turf for the national championship. Going up against a LSU team who has won their last two games by a combined score of 100-38 is a brutal task. Now add on the home field advantage and it seems like it could be too much for most teams.

Clemson is not like most teams. This will be their fourth national championship appearance in five years and have a coach in Dabo Sweeney who will have his players ready for this moment.

The Tigers have been criticized all year for the weak schedule and being accused of beating up on nobodies. I would argue no team has been battle tested like they just were in the Fiesta Bowl.
