The Alamo Bowl is one of the more lopsided matchups remaining in bowl season. The No. 11 team in the nation is playing a 7-5 team who oddsmakers would probably feel less kindly towards if they weren’t one of college football’s most distinguishable brands.

Even with that cache, Texas still comes into the game as a seven-point underdog. That might not sound like much, but it’s a hefty line for bowl season when the unexpected becomes a lot more regular. No, Texas will not keep this one close. Utah wins in Texas, sending the once-proud ‘Horns back to Austin with a whimper.
