2. Indiana snatched defeat from the jaws of victory

Indiana played very well for the majority of the second half. Peyton Ramsey led three solid drives that resulted in 13 points. The defense was creating turnovers and did not allow the Tennessee offense to do anything productive on back to back drives.

But it looked as if Indiana got complacent late in the game. The Hoosiers allowed Tennessee to go 82 yards in 2:45 of game time. They did not pressure Jarrett Guarantano at all, despite him struggling up until this point.

The big mistake was the holding penalty by Jamar Johnson on third-and-10 in the red zone. This allowed another chance for Tennessee to get the touchdown and gain momentum.

The onside kick definitely has to be discussed as Indiana was not selling out for it. They had two guys close to the 10-yard mark, but everybody else was ready for a deep kick. It was definitely a surprise for Tennessee to use it with three timeouts, but in a situation where the game is so close you have to be ready for anything.
