2. The run and shoot

Hawaii is known for its run and shoot offense that was deployed during the Colt Brennan days when Brennan had the record for FBS touchdowns in a season with 58. This style of offense is way more shoot than it is run and this same thing should be brought to the Palouse all of the same, coming in 2020.

Washington State has no shortage of quarterbacks and wide receivers that are more than capable of running this same offense. The offense is the most similar to the air raid and Mike Leach has recruited almost the same exact guys perfectly fitting this offense. Rolo will have a field day using all of the weapons that are at WSU like Calvin Jackson Jr. and Davontavean Martin that will be big pieces next year.

With a possible transfer quarterback or even one on the roster, the Washington State game will be centered around the Cougs playing fast and aggressive. This should allow the Cougs to utilize star running back Max Borghi more often and have a more balanced attack while still relying heavily on the pass. Instead of having Borghi out wide 50 times a game, he will enjoy his 15-20 carries and a steady dose of red zone exposure.
