4. New York Giants: Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama

With a new coach, New York could have any type of drafting philosophy. However, I think they will focus on bolstering the offensive line before worrying about other needs, and Jedrick Wills is currently my best offensive tackle. He played on the right side at Alabama, but he is more than capable of playing both ways. He’s powerful in the run, finishes blocks, and does more than enough in pass protection.

You could consider Tristan Wirfs or Andrew Thomas, but I currently have Wills as the best tackle.

Wills isn’t the only Alabama player that New York will be considering. Jerry Jeudy is a great talent at wide receiver, a need for the Giants. He could very much be in play here with his impressive route-running and agility with the ball in his hands. With Daniel Jones needing all the help he can get, a top-tier target would help with his progression. That being said, I think the one thing that would help Jones the most is knowing his blind side is protected.

Wills does tend to get a lot of penalties against him, but this can be coached out over time. He doesn’t have to be All-Pro coming out of college to be worthy of this selection. He just has to check the right boxes in terms of traits and coachability, which he definitely does.
