There are many positions that Washington can contribute to, but the tight end position may be his most reliable. At 6-7.5, 261 pounds, this five-star athlete brings serious size and brute force to the Bulldogs’ offense and defense. He is a hard target to bring down once he catches the ball from his quarterback.

Washington also possesses great breakout speed as he runs a 4.75-second 40-yard dash and a 4.46 shuttle time.

Washington’s signing with the Bulldogs comes at a convenient time for the Bulldogs’ offense like Newman. The top two tight ends for the Bulldogs from last season in Charlie Woerner and Eli Wolf are gone.

Replacing both tight ends will take serious talent or experience to get the Bulldogs reliable short-range targets. The Bulldogs have also signed former Florida State Seminoles tight end Tre McKitty, who played significantly for them for the past two seasons.
