The first road contest of the Badgers’ 2020 schedule could easily be a trap. Michigan Head Coach Jim Harbaugh needs badly to replicate the success he had as a quarterback for the Wolverines in the mid-1980s.  Though the Badgers crushed the Wolverines in Madison last year, their trip to Ann Arbor in 2018 yielded quite the opposite result, with a Michigan team buoyed by the likes of Chase Winovich and Karan Higdon bruised and battered the Badgers in a 38-13 decision. Michigan lost some of that talent in ’19, enabling the Badgers to return the favor.

The Wolverines will be without QB Shea Patterson, his successor is far from decided at the time of this article.  Whoever it is will have one starting receiver returning for their disposal, and a defense that could not deliver against quality opposition. Jonathan Taylor was most of Wisco’s offense against UM in ’19, and though he’s gone, at least the Badgers have a little more coming back than Michigan. Wisconsin will have an opportunity for a big win.

Final Score: Wisconsin 35, Michigan 24 (4-0)
