3. Oklahoma State

One question I’ve always wondered about Oklahoma State: Have they hit their ceiling as a program?

It seems every few years, Oklahoma State has a veteran team and are a popular pick to win the Big 12 and then they disappoint. The Cowboys seem to do better when there is no pressure on them.

Once again, the Cowboys are bringing back a veteran team and with some of the uncertainty around Texas and Oklahoma, there is some buzz surrounding the Cowboys heading into this season.

They have an early Heisman candidate in running back Chuba Hubbard and one of the best receivers in the country in Tylan Wallace, not to mention quarterback Spencer Sanders who showed some serious promise last season.

The Cowboys need to prove that they can step and finally take control of the Big 12 this season and live up to some of the lofty expectations.
