Pick Analysis. Wisconsin. player. Johnathan Taylor. RB. Jonathan Taylor. 14. 48

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ needs before free agency began included a quarterback, but with the signing of Tom Brady, that need has been filled. Tampa Bay also needs to fill out its offensive and defensive line voids.

The Buccaneers ended the 2019 season 7-9, but there’s plenty of hope for 2020 with Brady replacing Jameis Winston under center.

Jonathan Taylor spent three years at Wisconsin and chose to declare for the draft instead of playing his fourth with the Badgers after a very productive career.

In fact, Taylor had 320 rush attempts for 2,003 yards and 21 rushing touchdowns in 2019. He also recorded 26 receptions for 252 yards and five receiving scores last season.

Taylor’s career stats are even more eye-popping. He had 926 rushing attempts for 6,174 yards and 50 rushing touchdowns to go along with 42 receptions for 407 yards and five receiving touchdowns.

The Wisconsin rusher is a former track and field star with a good bend, forward lean and has shown improvement as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. He brings the ideal physicality on all fronts and is able to make something out nothing in a clutch moment.
