The Atlanta Falcons finished the 2019 season 7-9, won their first game against Philadelphia, then lost six straight before finishing the year with a 6-3 record in their final nine games.

The Falcons’ biggest need is an edge rusher, but Derrick Brown may be the best available defensive lineman here and they need to jump on him.

Brown will fill the need on the Falcons’ defensive line and played all four years of his college career for the Auburn Tigers. He posted a career total 170 total tackles in addition to eight pass deflections, four fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles.

Brown’s 2019 season consisted of 54 total tackles )32 solo tackles and 22 assists) in addition to four pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. He scored an impressive 7.11 at the NFL Combine and his size and strength is what the Falcons defense is in need of.
