OL. Louisville. Mekhi Becton. 18. Mekhi Becton. Pick Analysis. player. 59

The Miami Dolphins secured a second draft pick via the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mekhi Becton spent his freshman, sophomore and junior years at Louisville declaring for the draft following the 2019 season.

In his freshman season, he played in 13 games, starting 11 of them. He was a starting tackle in the 2018 season as well, and also in the last season of his collegiate career. Becton scored an impressive 6.74 in the NFL Combine and should be a great fit for the Dolphins’ offensive line as an absolutely mammoth presence at 6-7 and 370 pounds.

Oh, and he’s more athletic than he looks, running a 5.11 40-yard dash at the combine.

Becton has a seven-foot wingspan and his upper body power is unmatched. He uses his body to his advantage to finish plays and Miami needs a big body up front like Becton.
