QB. 1. 56. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LSU. Joe Burrow. player

The Cincinnati Bengals are in need of a quarterback, offensive line and linebackers. They finished the 2019 NFL season with a 6-10 record, losing three of their last five games.

Joe Burrow, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner and breakout star of the LSU Tigers, is the most likely choice here. He started his collegiate career with Ohio State but transferred to LSU in 2018 as he felt he would get more playing time at LSU. His inclinations were correct as he played in 13 games in 2018 and 15 games in 2019.

Going from solid quarterback in 2018 to superstar in 2019 was met with plenty of headlines as he was the topic of conversation all season long.

Burrow completed 650-of-945 passes for 8,852 yards, 78 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a rating of 172.4 in his college career. Of these numbers, Burrow recorded 621-of-906 completions for 8,565 yards, 76 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a rating of 173.2 during his two years at LSU.
