Pick Analysis. OT. Georgia. Andrew Thomas. player. Andrew Thomas. 23. 47

The Patriots came into the 2019 NFL season as the defending Super Bowl champions and finished the year 13-4. The biggest news from the Patriots’ camp so far this offseason has been the departure of future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady who, after 20 years with the franchise (which is an NFL record), signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots were victorious over opponents for the first seven weeks of the 2019 season, losing their first game to the Baltimore Ravens, then three weeks later they were defeated by the Houston Texans and lost games against the Chiefs and Dolphins.

The Patriots are in need of offensive line help, a tight end and a safety.

Andrew Thomas was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs, including 15 starts as a true freshman and was named a Freshman All-American.

In 2018, Thomas started in all 13 games he played and in 2019, he was awarded the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy which was the first time a Georgia player received that award in 21 years.

Thomas received a 6.49 prospect grade at the combine and his ability to play either tackle spot, his fiercely competitive mentality, and his run blocking should garner him a starting position with the Patriots. And even if he’s not starting, he will definitely add strength to the New England offensive line.
