NFL Draft 2020: Tua Tagovailoa to Dolphins a lock in latest mock
The Miami Dolphins finished their 2019 season with a record of 5-11 and during the season there was a lot of speculation the team was tanking the season for a better draft pick.
They won their first game of the season against the New York Jets in Week 8 and their second game against the Colts the following week. Three weeks later, Miami recorded its third win with the victory against the Philadelphia Eagles, and they finished out their season winning the last two games of the season.
The Dolphins are in the greatest need of a quarterback, offensive line and cornerback. Tua Tagovailoa has expressed interest in playing for Miami, and stated that he thought he would be a good fit with the Dolphins.
Miami could use the strength of Tagovailoa’s leadership, and this would be an excellent first draft pick for them — especially since they have multiple picks in the first round.
Although Tua missed several games in 2019 and only played eight games in his first season, his stats are most impressive, in particular his rating. In his time with Crimson Tide, Tagovailoa he posted 474 completions in 684 attempts for a total of 7,442 yards, 11 interceptions and an impressive 87 touchdowns for a 199.4 rating.
