Second-and-26 Region (continued)

3-seed: Julio Jones screen touchdown vs. LSU

This is one of those early Alabama plays that still winds up in every highlight video. Between the skill shown and the moment itself, it truly is one of the best plays in Alabama history. Julio had better highlight plays, but possibly not a better moment.

14-seed: AJ McCarron fighting Barrett Jones

Two leaders on the team, McCarron and Jones yelled at each other in the Notre Dame game. Famously, it was probably the toughest opponent either of them faced in this national championship.

6-seed: Jalen’s comeback vs. Mississippi State

Mississippi State didn’t have a great team this year, but they had one of the toughest night environments. After a poor performance for three quarters, Jalen Hurts pulled it all together on one game-winning drive that ended with a touchdown to Devonta Smith.

11-seed: Dixieland Delight coming back

This didn’t happen on the field, but it was one of the greatest environments in Alabama history. After a 4-year hiatus, Alabama decided to bring back Dixieland Delight with just a *few* minor changes.

7-seed: Vinnie Sunseri pick-6 vs. Texas A&M

This game had plenty of great moments, but the Tide defense managed to get revenge on Johnny Football in his home stadium, and this touchdown is what inevitably separated the two teams.

10-seed: Josh Jacobs trucks Oklahoma for a TD

Josh Jacobs had to get somewhere in this bracket, and this is one of his best plays. He got to show off both his strength and agility on this play, which culminated in an OU defender flat on his back and Jacobs in the end zone.

2-seed: “The Drive”

Another great Iron Bowl moment, Greg McElroy led a monster drive late in the game to come back against the Auburn Tigers. It ended with a play-action bootleg to Roy Upchurch.

15-seed: Kenyan Drake TD vs. Florida

Blake Sims showed off his arm strength on this touchdown, and Lane Kiffin really got to flex his versatility in a big game.
