Pick Analysis. Justin Jefferson. 49. Scouting Report. WR. LSU. 30. player

The Green Bay Packers once again found themselves short of an NFC Championship title due to their lack of elite talent at certain positions.

Aaron Rodgers is not going to be the quarterback of the Packers forever and Davante Adams can only carry a poor receiver corps for so long. Last season, Green Bay ranked 17th in the league in passing yards per game (233.3).

The Packers are not going to find much consistency by having newly acquired Devin Funchess as their No. 2 receiver.

LSU wide out Justin Jefferson is the perfect target for the Packers this late in the first round. He was a part of a dynamic duo receiver corps along with Ja’Marr Chase being thrown to by Joe Burrow. He caught 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns this past season for the Tigers.

Jefferson will not overtake Adam’s role as the No. 1 receiver but will take the pressure off of him.
