Of the positions most affected by the mass exodus is defensive end. Right now, the Tigers have two true defensive ends on their roster. They recruited heavily along the defensive line, and Pelini runs a hybrid sort of defense, so that will also play into who gets on the field for the Tigers.
Juniors Glen Farrell and Glen Logan return for the Tigers at defensive end. BJ Ojuari and Ali Gaye were signed and will have an opportunity to play. Jabril Cox is a transfer from North Dakota State who offers some versatility. It’s going to be wide open at the defensive end spot.
The upperclassmen have the advantage, but they might not have much of an advantage since there is a new defensive coordinator in Baton Rouge.
